About the Band
blink-182 is a pop punk band from California, known for their catchy melodies, humorous lyrics, and energetic performances. The band originally formed in 1992, consisting of Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Scott Raynor.
History
After self-releasing their demo album in 1993, blink-182 began to gain traction in the SoCal punk scene. Their 1997 album Dude Ranch marked their first commercial success, but it was 1999's Enema of the State that launched them into worldwide fame. Drummer Travis Barker replaced Scott Raynor shortly before this release.
The band went on hiatus in 2005, reunited in 2009, and went through lineup changes—Tom DeLonge left and was replaced by Matt Skiba, before returning again in 2022.
